How Do You Setup Cox Wifi

COX WIFI is the on the go internet connectivity offered for Cox High Speed Internet customers in a package or higher at no extra charge.

COX WIFI gives access to Wi-FI hotspots for their High-Speed Internet customers. This gives connectivity to more than 70,000 hotspots.

Customers can have download speeds of upto 15 Mbps and upload speeds of 4 Mbps. The speed varies as its dependent on the number of devices connected to a hotspot at a time. If a greater number of devices are connected to a hotspot at a time then the speed will be slower.

COX WIFI SETUP:

In order to enable COX WIFI SETUP, you need to go to settings, then enable Wi-FIif itis switched off. For any device Apple IOS, Android devices, Windows 10, Mac OS and please follow the following steps:

1. Touch ‘Settings’

2. Touch ‘Wi-Fi’

3. If the Wifi button off, then switch it on.

After Enabling the COX WIFI SETUP, if you are a COX customer, follow the following steps:

I If you are a COX Customer in COX Service Area:

1. Enable WIFI on your wireless device

2. Device will fetch you the list of available WIFI devices

3. Select either CoxWIFI or CoxWIFI_Premium

4. open your internet browser

5. Sign up with your CoX Username and password

II. If you a COX customer in a CoX partner’s service Area:

1. Switch on WIFI

2. Your device will list the available WIFI devices

3. open your Internet Browser

4. Select your internet Service Provider from the list

5. Sign up with your COX username and Password

III. If you are customer from partnering cable provider in a cox service area.

Activate WIFI on their wireless device

1. The device will fetch the available wifi networks

2. Select Cable WIFI

3. Choose your internet service provider from the list

4. Sign up with your username and password.
